Charity Event Highlights Work of Christ’s Family Clinic

Christ’s Family Clinic’s Art of Caring for Others Charity Wine Dinner and Art Auction was held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 beginning with a VIP Cocktail Reception at 6:30 p.m. and continued with fun and fellowship through 10:00 p.m. The sophisticated evening included a champagne reception, four-course dinner elegantly paired with wine at each course, raffle and silent art auction. The evening and auction benefited Christ’s Family Clinic who serves more than 1,200 uninsured patients living and working in and near the Park Cities. Jennifer Clubb, Chief Executive Officer and Steven Bradford, Board Chair, were emcees for the evening, welcoming guests with a platform of the importance of Christ’s Family Clinic being a much needed health safety-net ensuring every member of our community, especially those without health insurance, remains healthy so they may continue to be productive and provide for their families. Mr. Bradford thanked the staff, volunteers, and sponsors and introduced Dr. George Williams, President of Methodist Medical Group and Senior Vice President for Physician Services, who spoke about Methodist’s footprint in the community, urgent and family care centers, and Methodist’s partnership with Christ’s Family Clinic. Patrons were invited to participate in the raffle and silent auction for chances to win prizes and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art. The crowd was abuzz at the choices of raffle prizes including a chance to win a private dinner for ten expertly prepared by Chef Francesco Farris of Dallas’ Zio Cecio, hosted by Scott and Heather Alexander of University Park at their beautifully appointed greenhouse on the grounds of their home. The silent auction included art submitted by local... read more

This holiday season, as you and your family reflect on what you are most thankful for and as you make your holiday giving list, please consider adding the tax deductible gift of health for someone in need to your gift list….
