Meet Tamara and Michael Swaldi!
With great excitement, Christ’s Family Clinic proudly announces the addition of Tamara and Michael Swaldi to our esteemed Board of Directors. Over the course of more than a decade, the Swaldi’s have been ardent supporters of the Clinic, and their enduring commitment has not gone unnoticed. As we move forward, we are deeply grateful for their longstanding dedication and eagerly anticipate their continued enthusiastic contributions to the Clinic’s mission. Please take a moment to meet Tamara and Michael.
Tamara Swaldi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a vocal emphasis and a minor in Business Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. Following a 5-year stint as a pharmaceutical representative at GlaxoSmithKline, she embraced the role of a stay-at-home mom, raising four children – Jack, Joe, Kate, and Michael Jr. As her kids entered school, Tamara pursued her dream career as a Disney/Universal Travel Advisor at Hourglass Travel. She remains an active volunteer in her children’s schools.
Michael Swaldi’s journey began in the northwest regions of Wyoming and Idaho before he settled in College Station, Texas in 1982. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1986, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1992. After obtaining his Master of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, he spent 8 years as an accomplished architect, rising to the role of Principal and Partner at 3Ci Architecture. In 2000, a transition led Michael to the Staubach Company, where he initially served as a development manager, supervising significant design and construction projects for clients like Cisco Systems and Mary Kay. While pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Southern Methodist University, he ventured into a new business line at the Staubach Company, establishing and currently heading the Land Practice team. The Staubach Company’s acquisition by Jones Lang LaSalle in 2008 did not deter Michael, who continued his journey as a Senior Managing Director.
Presently, Michael dedicates his time to serving on the Board of Directors of Practice Ministries and the Park Cities chapter of K-Life. He is also associated with Christ the King Catholic Church and is in the process of joining Park Cities Presbyterian Church, alongside his wife Tamara.
