Welcome new Board Member, Rick Lafitte!

Christ’s Family Clinic is delighted to announce the appointment of Rick Lafitte to our Board of Directors. Rick brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, passion, and experience to CFC, and we are excited to welcome him to our team!

Rick Lafitte, Senior Vice President of Susser bank, completed a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1980 from the University of Texas at Austin prior to completing an MBA in 1981 from Southern Methodist University.  He began his career as a project engineer for Noble Drilling Corp in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  In 1984 he joined his father, Darrell Lafitte and helped form Cornerstone Bank, N.A., launching his banking career.  Mr. Lafitte helped grow the de novo bank’s assets to over $400MM and the bank was purchased by Compass Bank in 1992.

Mr. Lafitte continued his banking career by opening a new branch in University Park for LegacyTexas Bank in 1999 where he was the Park Cities Banking Center President for 11 years.  Mr. Lafitte then held senior lending positions at Northern Trust and Bank of Texas prior to accepting the role of President of Tolleson Private Bank in 2019.

Mr. Lafitte has been a member of the Dallas Country Club since 1984, and a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas since 2008.  Mr. Lafitte is a past Board Member of Tolleson Private Bank, Easter Seals of Greater Dallas, where he was Chairman in 2008, the Clayton Dabney Foundation For Kids With Cancer, where he was Chairman 2009 – 2010 and currently is Trustee for the Clayton Dabney Legacy Fund.  Mr. Lafitte has also been active with The Retina Foundation, The Family Place and as an usher at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Lafitte is also a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.

Mr. Lafitte is married to April Lafitte, a registered life insurance advisor and he has three children 29, 34 and 36 years of age and three grand-children.
