David Rubin, Dallas-based photographer, generously donates artwork to The Art of Caring Dinner & Art Auction

David prefers the term “life captures” to portraits—moving beyond the traditional “say cheese” moment to reveal the true personality and spirit of his subjects. Based in Dallas, Texas, David has had three gallery showings at Zhen’s Music and Art Institute, with additional exhibitions in San Antonio and Paris, France. He is also the staff photographer at the Centre du Marais Paris-Danse.

David’s work has received wide recognition, including a 1st Prize award in 2015 for Street Photography in Dallas. His travels take him around the world, where he immerses himself in everyday life to capture fleeting, authentic moments. In January 2016, David served as the personal photographer for Joe Dallesandro of the Andy Warhol Studio and Jane Birkin in New York.

His photographs are displayed in private collections and spaces across the globe, including New York, Boston, Dallas, San Antonio, Colorado, Paris, Lyon, and Beijing. David also offers customization options for his work to suit individual needs.
