Exclusive Gala Artwork by Bri Crum
We are honored to feature two extraordinary original works by Dallas artist Bri Crum at this year’s Gala. Known for transforming personal history into heirloom-quality fine art, Bri’s work explores preservation, identity, and emotional permanence — creating pieces that are as meaningful as they are visually stunning.
Where It All Began
Commissioned Legacy Artwork | 30 x 40 inches | Resin-Preserved Original Collage
Where It All Began is a fully commissioned, one-of-a-kind artwork created from a child’s original elementary school drawings and paintings — transforming fleeting childhood expressions into a permanent masterpiece.
Each piece is meticulously composed by hand, using the child’s authentic artwork as the foundation. Original drawings are carefully trimmed, layered, and curated into a cohesive large-scale composition. Subtle artistic enhancements add depth and refinement while preserving every genuine line, color, and moment of innocence.
The finished work is professionally framed and sealed beneath a flawless, crystal-clear resin finish, creating a luminous, museum-quality statement piece designed to endure for generations.
This is not a reproduction. It is a singular original — a deeply personal archive of creativity, imagination, and identity.
Created exclusively for the winning family, Where It All Began becomes both a refined design centerpiece and a lasting legacy — honoring the earliest expressions of who a child was, and the beginning of who they are becoming.
An example print will be available for viewing at the Gala. The final commissioned piece will be uniquely created using the recipient child’s original artwork.
Inner Stillness
Original Hand-Embellished Longhorn Skull | Ink on Bone | One-of-a-Kind Original
Inner Stillness is an original artwork created on an authentic longhorn skull, transforming a natural form into a deeply symbolic and contemplative fine-art statement.
Each intricate detail is drawn entirely by hand, allowing the mandala pattern to emerge organically across the surface. The design represents balance, wholeness, and quiet alignment — inviting calm, presence, and reflection. The meditative repetition of line and form mirrors the stillness found within.
The natural bone serves as both foundation and guide, with every contour informing the flow of the composition. The result is a harmonious balance between strength and softness, permanence and peace.
This is not a reproduction. It is a singular original — impossible to duplicate and intended to exist as a lasting sculptural centerpiece.
Both grounding and ethereal, Inner Stillness invites pause — a visual meditation honoring silence, presence, and the beauty of simply being.
